    • Good morning, wet and windy this morning though if out the wind quite mild, which seems to be the same for most of us, nice to have you back on Jay and good to see you are on the road to recovery, and LD I hope your good fairy turns up again and Snoop reading your post shows why I should be grateful for the rain we get here, though at times it is hard to appreciate it Well enjoy your day no matter the weather and pass on a smile

          • Good night all.
Played pitch and putt in the very windy weather today with 33 other mad women.
            Very enjoyable but extremely challenging.
It was lovely to be out despite it all.
            Hsve a good night all.

            • Morning all, said quietly as it seems everyone is having a well deserved lie in

I only woke early cos I managed to sleep right through, fantastic!
Yesterday afternoon on the plot and with the help of friends managed to straighten out and put the wind- mangled g/house frame back up, and the base screwed down to some old fence posts. Hopefully it won't go wandering again... I'll wait a few weeks before I put the polycover over it though.
It's grey, but mild and it rained quite a bit overnight, lots of puddles outside - so don't think I'll be gardening today, so good job I went yesterday
              Have a good'un

                  • Top breakfast, Bren. Ages since I've had an oatcake. I'm guessing it was in the Staffordshire kind of style. Do you have a good recipe?

That's some serious damage to your greenhouse, TS. Was all that the recent wind and storms?

Meanwhile, bright blue here. Mr Snoop outside, fettling a generator that seems to be leaking petrol. Not ideal... Three dogs curled up indoors, sopping wet from paddling in the fields, one of them snoring her head off. Bit surprised they're not outdoors, where it is distinctly warmer.

Didn't actually do much yesterday except cook, so better get a move on, otherwise I'll have clients breathing down my neck tomorrow and nothing to give them.

Hope you all have a great day.

                      Wetn'sploshy here too.
Sort of glad it is so I can crack on again with sanding down the staircase. Fiddly spindles today.

I managed to find Kellogg's Cornflakes in a local shop-so guess what my breakfast was today?
Made a lovely change. But having said that, I could find space for Brens breakfast!

See ya later peeps! Enjoy your day

                      • Good morning all.
The sun is shining, the sky is blue and its 9 degs.

Yes, we had full Irish for breakfast. Bacon, egg, tomato and mushrooms.
We always have this on Saturday and Sunday.
My hubby always says, we have to have some of "lifes little pleasures"

Off to mass shortly and then hopefully something garden related.
                        Have a good day all.

                        • Good nearly lunchtime
It's a bright cloudy day and no drizzle. 54F outside. Most of last week was a drizzly dusk all day!
Masses of honey bees on honeysuckle. I think they are from two hives over the road. Unfortunately the keeper died in December. Just hope his widow takes better care of them than the garden.
Just going to set up breadmaker.
Then try and sort out green houses. Can temporarily move wife's fuchsias out so I can access my plants!

Yes, I assumed that with no glass in, or plastic over it, the winter storms would just blow through. I was wrong, obviously. I know I'm at the top of the slope, but still, I really never expected that to happen!!!!

                              • Evening all, it as a strange day, temperatures were mild around 10-11’C but threatening to rain all day. We had a lot of rain last night.
Took the wife down to Lidl to buy some wool they had on sale, picked up some Nicola and Cara seed potatoes in B&Q garden centre, have them laid out chatting in the garage.
