Evening, I've only been as far as the brassica bed it was either get wet or just have frozen beans with dinner. Kale and PSB was worth it.

No thunder here Flo just wind and rain. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Morning, FF. Morning, all.

No frost this morning, but still quite chilly. One of the dogs spent the night out up the valley, guarding our friend. Goodness only knows what from, but she likes having a mission. Glad it wasn't frosty, as he doesn't let her sleep in the house. She tucks herself in behind his solar panels, but still quite exposed.

The usual busyness today. Better make a start. Kettle's on for a brew if anyone wants to join me. If you're all being sensible and are still tucked up in your beds, catch you later. Have a good one meanwhile.

No damage here that I can see so far, although the electricity tripped during the night so everyhing needs resetting.

All the prepping I did on the greenhouse was worth it, 'cos it's still all in one piece *happy dance*
The same can't be said for the fence which was taking the brunt of the wind though...
Another job to add to the to-do list
Allotment inspections at 11am, don't think any plot will be tidy after yesterday haha

Good morning blustery with sleet and snow, went to collect some seaweed yesterday, rough seas but cleaned beaches, so didn't get any seaweed, will have to wait till the storms pass then collect it I try to avoid going to the greenhouse when there are strong winds but might need to as housework has been mentioned twice and I don't like doing housework after all women are so much better at it Well off to avoid the housework

Morning all,we have been lucky again with this storm,earlier on it was a passing of snowy balls,just now looks lovely out,a bit breezy,but warmer,am seeing a little light at the end of the tunnel,looking at the poly frame and thinking about putting a tunnel sheet on,as opposed to a new green cover,not much different in price,but better for it,mmmm,more work eh,at least the marbles are on the move again,joins TS in the happy dance,thanks for the hot choc snoop,i do miss not using the car,spoilt eh,have a good day all.

Afternoon all(I was up this morning), been busy prepping for potting on onions, need to sow more leeks too. We have sunshine, but the strong winds off the snow covered hills are keeping the temp very low, fire lit so will the soup be soon.
