  • Good morning all.
Blue sky, sunshine, freezing cold and black ice.
Nice to look out at but better viewed from indoors.
    Have a good day all.

    • First light dusting of snow of this year this morning. Bitterly cold but bright. High winds all night had me checking the roof tiles for damage. We will need the roof re-slating at some time but hopefully it will survive until we get some decent weather.
Picking Grandson up from his little job at 1.00pm so had better go out and defrost the car. He is a t college but has a job serving in a shop on his days off. Of course Grandad gets the job of taxi driver, but little does he know he has just volunteered for the next log shifting session.

      • Good afternoon, cold and blustery with occasional hail showers, at a friend's just now and she needed a water barrel sorted as apparently when it's heavy rain there is more water leaking from the drain pipe entry than going to the drain and having to work outdoors with water doesn't half cool the hands down, now need to head home and get ready for the boys coming home from school, take care when out and about

        • Have had a bit of a potter in the garden and greenhouse.
The temp has gone up to 6 degs and it feels milder.
Great colour from all the daffodils in bloom.
          Spring is coming slowly.

            • Sunny and dry all day, managed to get all the mastic on the greenhouse in preparation for the storm this weekend. Don't want to be bothering the neighbours again looking for glazing panels.

                          • Good morning, we have snow this morning and I had to come and put the boys out to school, so decided to walk up to their house and it was cold and wet, I think that will be the last of those silly ideas
have been informed by the boys that I have 2 odd socks on, so I must have an other pair the very same in my sock drawer now going out with the dog, she's fine with her fur coat but I will be wrapping up warm

                            • Morning All.
Won't be around much today as I'm expecting a Card from the Queen!! No rary, its not for me, but my Mum. Can't believe she's 100. Gotta go and join the early morning traffic now to get to her place before the postman.

Enjoy your days - stay warm.

Happy 100th birthday to VC's mum

Lots of rain overnight and still lots up there by the looks of things... calm at the moment but forecast to get windy again later.
Washing on but think it'll have to go on the airers today, oh well! Domestics for me so I can at least start the weekend tidy

                                Have a good'un
