Good evening a dry but cold day today, we are at our daughters watching the grandsons as she's away for a couple of days, if it's for valentines day I will need to have a word with SiL and though, I am sure, it will surprise some of you, I don't do valentines day, I am siting here expecting a call to go and collect No.1 grandson as he is out with his girlfriend for a meal, that's another one I will need to have a serious talk with the dog thinks it's great me being up here she has had 3 walks today already with a strong possibility of one more, though that might be missed out as the legs are getting sore, well enjoy your weekend and I might join VC in the yellow sticker hunt as I will need to buy some flowers for OHs birthday and once the yellow sticker is removed they will still look OKit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Morning, all. Bright blue up top and a hard frost still on the ground. Going to be quite warm today, though.
Had a good night last night: went into town for a classic Spanish film from the 1960s and then met up with friends for drinks after.
Busy day today. Need to clear a bit of work, get some cooking done and then go and visit other friends down the valley. Would like to take some goodies with me but not sure what. All I can think of is Devonshire splits... Also got some biscuit stamps I fancy trying too. Goodness, choices, choices. I get flummoxed just at the sight of all the choices of plain yogurt in UK supermarkets, so how on earth am I going to be able to choose what cake to make?
Anyway, on with the show. Hope you all have a lovely day.

Belated birthday greetings AP. Snaws all gone so we'll just have to batten down the hatches for Dennis the menace
Bought a couple of packets of cheap Bunyards Exhibition broadies yesterday. They were the only broad beans my auld man used to grow so I thought I would give them a try.
Take care folks. My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order

Good afternoon, some blustery showers today but feels quite mild, will need to go out shortly as one of the boys goes for guitar lessons and hopefully his mum and dad will be back by the time we get home again, then I can get back to my own house, I was down at the house earlier and while it was just me in I got garlic pressed and into some honey, I have found that it helps against the pains in my hands and shoulders from the arthritis, but OH moans about the smell of garlic so better getting it done while she's not about. Belated birthday wishes to you AP, that's you an other year closer to the old yin, who must still be celiberating her mums birthday, right off to get ready to take my boy to his guitar lessons,

afternoon all. Really foul out there and worse to come according to the weather forecast. Between making hotel arrangements for various shows where I am Show Manager to other hotel arrangements for a trip we're taking to France in June, it's been a busy old morning on the computer. Ferry also booked across the water. Doing Newhaven Dieppe because thats nearer to where we're going although longer on the boat. Hope the weather is better than today's for the ferry trip.
Keep indoors if you can and hopefully no-one will get flooded.

Good afternoon.
What a wicked day.
Heavy rain and strong winds but still very mild.
An indoor day but I have been potting up my tomato plants in the conservatory.
Have a good day all and stay safe.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
