    • Good morning, had a long lie in this morning so not that long up, blue sky with broken cloud and blustery wind outside so might get some work done in the garden if it stays dry and also install some lights in the greenhouse as I have a couple of daylight bulbs to use above the seedlings, well with this next storm coming up hopefully you don't get any damage and the current victims get the chance to recover, keep safe and keep a smile close to pass on

      • I was wrong about the wind - it's trying to blow my bedding off the line! Whether it's drying them is debatable.

        • It was drying, but we've just had a snow shower! Sun's out again now. Strange.

          • Good afternoon all.
We are being battered by wind and rain.
            Storm Jorge has arrived.
Confined indoors but my sister is here with me so enjoying the company.
            Have a good day all.

                • Good evening, after thinking that it was going to be at home today, but OH decided she wanted to go out, so ever obedient we went out, though forfeiting the chance of clearing out the loft had no bearing on agreeing to go out, we went along the coast to a GC where I bought some mammoth leek seeds, competing back home the wind was getting up and raising quite a wild sea unfortunately it was high tide so couldn't collect any seaweed, however there will be time for that before spring arrives, now it's heavy rain which hopefully will be off by the morning, enjoy what's left of the weekend and keep safe. Goodnight

                      • Morning, all. Congrats on the weight loss, TS.

Blue and windy out there at the moment. Rain forecast for this afternoon.

Mr Snoop attempted to walk down the side of our fields this morning. No chance, he says. The one I was hoping was the least affected (where I was hoping to put in some veg) is in fact the worst. All under water. So that puts the kibosh on that. Maybe get some autumn and winter brassicas in, if I'm lucky.

Got plenty to keep me busy today. Better get to it.

Have a lovely Sunday, everyone. Catch you later.

                        • Mornings!
Thanks for the diet congrats, I'm going to carry on counting what I eat but will gradually add a few more calories/foods - til I find my maintenance level for carbs and quantity on the plate... I've been up and down all my life - but at least I've finally learned how to control things. Cant recommend Dr Mosley's books enough....

Atm it's a sunny/blue skies morning so I'll be out in the greenhouse
                          Catch you later...

                          Have a good'un

                          • Good afternoon, blustery with occasional showers today, after church I went out the back to check for any damage, one or two large empty pots blown about, also a water but blowen of its base pedestal though it was only about 25% full just hope it hasn't been fractured with the fall, I am for going out shortly to fix the lights I have installed as they light up the back garden plus it may anoy the neighbours if it's too bright, hope everyone is getting a bit of gardening done even if it's just planning, though for me the planning is the easy part it putting it into practice that I have the difficulty, as has been mentioned on another thread, the best laid plans Well enjoy your day and Snoop just think of all the water that you will have in your well, so a little discomfort now may save a bit of work later
