  • Morning all, (barely)

Walked the dog this morning without needing a coat on for the first time this year.

Hopefully this is the sign of better weather to come.

Take care everyone and have a nice day.

      • Good afternoon, we have had some heavy showers some of them hail, back home from church via our sons for a coffee (saves me making it) have now filled the bird feeders and now getting ready to go out, have offered to take OH with me but she doesn't want to go as she says she's not sitting in a cold car while I collect seaweed so now just waiting for the rain to stop then I will head over and collect some. Catch you latter

        • Afternoon, the weather soon changed we've had either sunshine or rain and at times both together. I still managed a walk though so its not been a bad day after all.

          • Good afternoon.weather has been changeable here as well.
Sunny spells and a couple of showers.
Still potting on my summer bedding plants
Watered all my tomatoes and peppers.
Sowed a few more spring onions and mixed salad leaves.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.

            • Good afternoon again, I went over and collected some seaweed, though it was bitterly cold and I had to stop for a bit as there was a heavy shower, I collected 6 bags, which are now on the garden, and I am now trying to thaw out, when I was at the shore I thought I would take a couple of photos as the Arran hills looked very impressive, I was sure my camera was in the car but couldn't see it so used the phone instead,

                  Rary, beautiful pics.
It was worth the cold weather to get them.

                      Agreed...stunning piccies rary!

Mostly packed away from the Fair now so today shall be spent ripping out the insulation on the study walls.
There is a drawing of a window on some very old plans we were given when we bought the house so I have fingers and toes crossed that it's been infilled with stones rather than ripped out.
The outside aspect is hidden by thick ivy so it's hard to tell.
Be good to open up the inside part and create a bookcase/shelving.
                      Here's hoping!

Full moon tonight I think...or was it this morning

                        • Mornings!
Lovely sunny morning again, but the wind is cold 'feels like 3C' according to MetO brrr!

Domestics for me this morning, I'm hoping it'll warm up a tad for a plot visit later. Inspections in the morning again, and I've done next to nothing since last month's one - oh dear!

                          Have a good'un

A grey and wet start to the week.
Domestics today as the rain is due to last for the day.
Have a good one and stay safe.

                              • I had an early start this morning. Shifted a couple of wheelbarrows of firewood and stacked it near to the door. Loaded the washer up and when ready hung clothes out on the line to get a blow.
Went to the supermarket and got four bags of shopping. I noticed people loading there trolleys with large packs of toilet rolls for some reason?

From the Supermarket I went to a local sawmill to get four 8 foot lengths of 4 X 4 fencing posts to
strengthen the fence at the top of the garden. I could only get three into the car so had to make do with
                                that.It is only a Corsa.
After unloading the shopping, getting the clothes in off the line and taking posts to top of garden I had enough! Tomorrows another day and hopefully with less wind.

                                Take care folks.
