  • Afternoon all. Bright blue but blowing a gale out there. Perishing cold. Lovely pics, by the way, Rary.

Busy morning out and about. So better catch up on the work. But I'd much rather have a nap...

Hope you all have a great afternoon.

How did you know, you must have been looking
And yes it's snow and though as others have said, the view of the snow capped mountains is nice, the wind off them feels like ice

      • Good afternoon, managed a walk with the dog this morning and though cold it was dry, we now have rain and at the moment quite heavy, and just in time for the younger boys coming out of school and unfortunately not unable to pick them up as I am just in after taking their mum to a hospital appointment and I need to get something to eat before going to watch the other two when they come home from school, I think I will go job hunting tomorrow, then if any employer is lucky enough to take me on I might get more time to myself

            • I managed to get to the plots and used the 3prong cultivator to work some rockdust and seaweed meal into one of the 15 x 5ft beds, before it started drizzling.
I down 4 more to go...

I'm not stuck in a rut like you, rary..........its a sign of your age, the inability to change.

It was Thelma that was using the cultivator VC not me and reading her post she wasn't stuck in a rut, as she has indicated that she got a bed finished

                  • Don't bring young Thelma into this, rary, I was talking about you and your Avatar. You've had 2 in the 7 years you've been a Grape and the first one I added to your profile as you were incapable of doing it yourself. I expect one of your grandsons helped you with your current one.

I'm just minding my own business here, don't you go bringing me into your verbal sparring.
If you were both younger I'd have to say "get a room" the way you like to keep stirring the other one up

                            • Good evening all.
Nothing to report except to say it was a most miserable wet day.
It rained right through so no gardening.

And your hands begin to harden.

Sadly no hidden window ....that's cos I got all excited about it isn't it?

The rain held off long enough for OH to take all the rubble to the tip and bring back plasterboard so he's happy.
I'm happy cos his mate came round and helped him all day so I was excused from diy duty!
Made the most of the time by sorting my seeds and packaging up unwanted ones for our seed swap next month.

Raining now - pity - cos it's a full, supermoon behind those rainclouds
