Good morning just about to get the boys ready for school and it has started to rain, had a look in at the greenhouse to remove the fleece covering and the lowest overnight temperature was 6c so a bit warmer but still just as wet, another two or three days with temperatures like that and I will be planting my potatoes, right need to go and help the boys, then later today if I have time I will hunt out a new avatar to useit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Morning all. Hazy cloud but daytime temps due to rise a bit.
Got a load of tidying to do this morning, as a load of solar batteries due to arrive this afternoon and there's nowhere for them to go. Plus I'm behind on work... No surprises there.
Better get on with the show. Have a good one, everyone. Catch you later.

Mornings!
Raining again this morning
No lawn cutting here, either, but it's on the shady side of the house, so always gets cut late. Once cut, it always looks horrible for a while
Bad news on the C. virus front, we have a confirmed case at the school just the other side of the railway bridge, next to the farm. A bit too close for comfort tbh. Can animals get it, I wonder? (I know it started in them, but wondered about this present form because of lambing?)
Have a good'un

Good morning all.
Its dry and breezy here.
Hopefully it will stay dry as I have lots of gardening jobs.
Looking after my grandson this afternoon so that will shorten my dsy.
Sorry to hear the virus is moving near you Thelma.
Dont know about animals getting it.
There is still do much to learn about all this.
Have a good day all and stay safe.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

I read this a few days back.
https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...ts-coronavirus
I'm guessing lambs are extremely unlikely to get it.
Mr Snoop is worried about the impact on our village because a considerable proportion of the population is quite elderly.

Evening people! Just a fleeting visit again, until later..
Sooo much seed sowing going on - I'll post in the thread to save blocking up the chat thread!
It's been a long 4 weeks with this fluff ball not being able to go out but her jabs finished last week so cannot wait to take her to the beach this weekend!
Amazing how fast shes grown and how much her colours are changing!!

Good night all.
Spent a hectic day looking after my grandson.
Feeling pretty exhausted right now.
Have a good night all.

Bright blue outside. Calm at the moment after all the windy days recently. Quite a relief.
Lovely photos, cptncrackoff. Bet she's a bundle of fun.
Sounds like you had a good chat with your husband, LD. But not surprising you're stressed under the circumstances. Time to definitely be good to yourself as well as everyone else. Big hug to you from me.
Busy day ahead, as per. So better get on with it.
Have a good one, everyone.

Good morning, a mixed bag weather wise here when I got up this morning and went out to check the greenhouse it was calm but cloudy then when going up to my sons it was heavy rain and blustery winds and now a light rain and a breeze, no matter once I take the boys to school I will take the dog a walk then it will be staying at home though I can see me spending a bit of time in the greenhouse, that is to save my OH any bother, if I sit about the house she would have to find something that I need to do, which of course I would need to do by myself as it would be too heavy for her, or there would be something on TV that she would need to watch Can wife's see their men sitting doing nothing right need to go and get the boys to school, and the rain is heavy againit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
