Morning, bright and very breezy with the odd heavy shower, just lifted a couple of pounds of carrots for dinner and soup making, still quite a few left. I think I will lift the rest of them as they are likely to start growing again, they can be sliced and frozen for soups/stews, then I can manure the bed ready for this years crops.Comment

Late this morning....but already been up and about!
OH has just ordered me a strawberry tree for my burpday (Arbutus unedo) which I've had my eye on for years and I'm thrilled.
We're going out for the day tomorrow and en route will be poppin into the garden centre to get a new pair of secateurs too
He's not had a chance to get them and knows how much I'll enjoy wandering around, casually popping a few other 'desperately needed' gardening items into the basket at the same time ...te he....
Hes playing in an Irish music band tonight again so that is going to be a fun night out too.
Good grief -my lifestyle at the moment really does feel like I'm burning the candle at both ends
Today I can't help with the DIY again so it'll be seed swap prep again-Yey!!!!
Raining here too otherwise I'd be outside weeding.

I me again,found some get up,and the way to visit my younger sister this morning,tis her birthday,i am well know as a chicken driving about,in case i get lost and panic,also for buying cards and not posting them in time,tis only about 20mins away,she got a nice supprise,we did not go in,as MR cannot negotiate the high step over and tiny porch to get shoes off,i just wanted to show her i do think and care.
Renewed car insurance,cannot find the thread i posted on,i asked about advice on having a dash cam in car,providing it can be removed on leaving the vehicle,they a good thing,IF you have them fitted,and not tolled the insurance,it is classed as a modification,so please all be aware,do not get court out,and find it voided,with you in a mess,these things get banded about,frighten peeps to death,instead of telling how things are,of to sort more stuff out.Last edited by lottie dolly; 11-03-2020, 12:58 PM.sigpicAnother nutter ,wife,mother, nan and nanan,love my growing places,seed collection and sharing,also one of theseComment

Good afternoon its still cold and blustery showers here today when out with the dog this morning I was caught in one of the showers and as there was some hail with it and a strong wind it didn't half sting, however by the time I got back home OH had most of the housework finished though I did take the hoover off her and told her to sit down and I would finish it, so while I did that she did the dusting need to go my daughter is now home
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Good morning feels quite wintery this morning had to clear snow off the windscreen before coming up for the boys, and not sure if we will go out today though I do have a funeral to attend at midday doubt if there will be any garden work done today as it is now raining, I hope you enjoyed your night last night Nicos, not bad a night out and also knowing your needed, what more could a woman want Enjoy your day Folks keep safe and have a drink of water regularly it won't do you any harm and it may keep you safe
