Morning it was 3.6c overnight in my GH so no early morning frosts here today looks like we've got sunshine for the rest of the day.
Stay safe and keep pottering about
Snoop-I still chuckle at the thought of your OH creating a second 'Solar System' he certainly has an almost unique skill
I didn't notice that first time around. Thanks. It's what we call it and neither of us bats an eyelid. I'll remember that later, when it should all be completed.
Mornings!
I've put the w/machine on singing "and this is the way we wash our clothes on a cold and frosty morning" cos it is. It's sunny with it though and some birds are making a dreadful racket - Rooks/Crows? which frightened the cat back inside
Garden pottering for me today, once it has warmed up a bit.
Morning all. I've been out and fed and watered the birds. Its a lovely morning so stuck a load of washing in so they can get a good airing on the line..
Need to go out at sometime today so making sure I get everything I need in one journey.
OH got her text and letter from the government so she is grounded. Luckily we have two loos and two downstairs comfy rooms so we can adhere to the 2 metre separation rule most of the time.
Take care folks.

Good Morning All Sunny here too, but cold. I'm on leave until Tuesday but feeling guilty! I have to keep reminding myself that when I go back, someone else can go off. Glad I have some seeds to sow.Have a good day and keep safe
Good morning all.
It's a beautiful sunny morning and its 13 degs.
Off out to the park for a long walk and back to the garden.
I am tempted to plant out my sweetpeas but the temp is still low at night.
Hope everyone is keeping well.
Have a good day all.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
Morning all. I feel as if it's the middle of the afternoon. I had an early (ish) night last night, thinking it wouldn't hurt me to catch up with some sleep. Didn't work. The dogs decided it was time to get up at 5.00am. I sloped back off to bed with a cuppa and my book. No peace so I decided to get up. Then we had a power cut. So far I've done the crossword, had breakfast, spoken to a friend and a family member on the phone, fixed the shed door that's been hanging off for 6 months, fed the dogs and replaced the battery in the fire alarm.
I'm now sitting down typing this with a cuppa. I've also started to write a To Do list. I'm using the same system I used for revising for exams and preparing for Christmas. First prioritise, then divide the time into slots by counting the number of tasks and the dividing the time available by that time. That gives the amount of time available for each task but adjusted for the minimum time it will take to do each of those tasks.
I need to do this or I will spend the next 12 weeks slopping around in my PJ's and not achieving anything. I'm leaving the evenings for hobbies and stuff that is better done then such as making curtains and pompoms. The pompoms are for a local bid for a world record.
This is also to ensure I don't get bored as I'm not used to sitting around. My brother has just reminded me that I will need to run my cars engine from time to time even if I'm not going anywhere.
Right, finished my tea. Keep safe everyone.

I know I am a dinosaur and prefer cash to card payments. I know that in the future cash will become extinct (just like me)
I know the benefit of using card payments in the present crisis, but like a lot of older people I prefer cash.
I am not against online banking (OH is though and its a joint account) but I prefer to have money in my pocket rather than in the bank.
I don't go to the extent of stuffing money under the mattress but I do like to have a small amount of cash in the house and in my pocket.
Guilty as charged.
I've just been outside enjoying the sunshine in the garden
Have a good afternoon and evening all and stay safe.

Afternoon its been a lovely sunny day here I even removed my jumper when I was in the garden.
I rarely use cash it's usually just to pay the milkman or a small purchase in the veg/butchers shop but that's about it.

I thought about this just today when another kind neighbour asked if I needed any shopping. I don't just had a Trashco delivery with most of what I ordered BUT, if I did need something - I have no money, apart from a couple of quid in loose change, to pay for it
Things could get very interesting if this goes on for a long while

Hope you removed the plant pot before taking your jumper off!

I’ll be wearing my plant pot permanently now I can’t get my hair cut, MrPots offered to cut it using the wahl trimmer I do his hair with. Think I’ll pass on that.
