  • Mornin n'alln'all
Late start here for me too as I was awake half the night

Think I may need to up my calories a tad as this happened the last couple of times I was on this diet. At least so far I've lost 12lbs in 18 days!
I'm more than happy with that, although there is plenty more to go.

OH and I are planning a picnic at the bottom of our field/garden for Sunday as it's supposed to hit 19C here. Be something nice/different to look forward to!

I'm deffo having PT/greenhouse envy at the moment.
I've loads of seedlings needing potting on and absolutely nowhere to put them
Don't want them to get too leggy either. Hmm...
Not got much potting compost either! - ha!... problems problems!!!!

Last day of Ancestry membership today so I'll print off my most recent finds and then give it a break for a while and get back to doing more building work.

Take care peeps, see ya later...

It looks beautiful out there right now, but it's really not warm, except in the greenhouse. So guess that's where I'll be most of the day, just pottering or reading - works for me

Have a good'un and take care
I was surprised how warm it was in the greenhouse earlier today even though it is dull and overcast.

      • Just about ready to take the dog out for his second walk of the day. His name is Kato but OH calls him 'Katy two poos' as he is so consistent.
Got some shopping today and OH likes a certain type of bread so decided to call at T&sco's on the way home. There was about 100 people in the queue stretching around the car park as far as the eye could see. I just turned round and drove out. OH will just have to make do with what we have.
The village is like a ghost town and only needs a bit of tumbleweed drifting down the middle to set the scene for a spaghetti western.

I know its all to the good though and its nice to see people taking government advice and staying in. Unfortunately with OH grounded everything falls on me to make sure we have enough medication and food.

Take care folks and stay safe.

          • Best part of the day here now - Sun is shining, but very cold. Hash and Yorkshire pudding for us tonight. Got everyone at work on the lookout for yeast. It's amazing that you want something that you wouldn't normally bother with!

                      • Mornings!

A sunny, frosty morning - I'm hoping it warms up like it did yesterday. I must get out for a walk today, I feel like my legs are going to stop working altogether with all this sitting around indoors lark

                        • Morning all.

Grey and wet again. No surprises there. Possibly not raining as much as forecast, just a steady drizzle.

                          Busy as per.

Catch you later, guys. Have a good one meanwhile.

                              • Got up this morning to 'no electric' Checked the fuse board and the main switch had tripped. Reset it and asked OH what she had done. She had stuck a waffle in the oven sez her. Tried the oven and the fan was working , but no heat.
I can only assume the element has blown so that's my job for today, strip it down and try and get a replacement element, if that's what it is.

Weatherwise it looks overcast but at least its not raining. I have had my poached eggs on toast for brekkie so I had better get cracking on the oven.
