  • Good mornig all.
    The weather has finally broke.
Lashing rain, breezy and a grey sky.
An indoor day but lots to be done as all the sunny days were spent outdoors.
Take care all and have a good day.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

    • Good afternoon a cold dull day, have been sitting in the conservatory to keep out the way of OH and reading a book, OH is clearing out and it better that if I do that it's when it's just me, as it would be "your not going to keep that are you" and it's usually something that I like well I am now for going out to light a fire and get some old wood burned, keep safe and keep your distance
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

      • OH is in the process of lighting our fire
And I have started reading Bernard Cornwell's Richard Sharp series.
        Got the first 12 books.
Makes a nice change not to do anything constructive

Think I might stick a rice pudding in the oven part of the Esse ...might as well make the most of the heat!
Must be Autumnal -we had porridge for breakfast too!

I have porridge all year round, though with the weather we have here you might consider it autumnal all year well apart from winter when the rain is colder

          • We finally have some rain, now wishing I'd cut the grass instead of looking at it and saying to myself "I'll do that tomorrow".

            • Mornin n'alln'all
It's actually stopped raining! And it smells wonderful out there

How do you make your porridge rary-all water or a mix of milk and water? -anything else you add to it ?
Which oats do you reckon are the best?
              Go on...pass on your tips
It's only in the last couple of years that I've noticed crushed oats being sold in supermarkets here -I usually stock up during our visits to the uk.
Not quite sure what today will bring but I'm going to try and do some more gentle diy
-can't wait for the diy shops to open again so I can finally get some paint for our new front door and back window.
Thank goodness we had enough undercoat!

              Time for a brew-Any takers?

              • I’ll join you Nicos if that’s ok?

Morning all, it’s dull, damp and chilly this morning, hope it’s better where you are.

Have a great day everyone. X

Me to as well Rary, mines pinhead oats made with water and topped with either fresh or frozen fruit and a dollop of yoghurt. Then on the weekends I have bacon on either oatcakes or rolls.

                  • Mornings!

Woke up to sunshine, which quickly changed to cloud and rain, bit of a let-down that *sigh* At least I got the tender stuff out to the greenhouse without getting drenched.

Wish the vine would make up its mind to work properly or not, rather than this on/off service...

Have a good'un and stay safe

                    • Bright and sunny now, but grey and miserable when I got up. Clouds building up a bit in places though. Could do anything by the look of it.

                      Anyway, morning my lovelies.

All good here today. Sent off a bit of work already. Bit more to do. And then I'm off out to do a bit of gardening. Hooray.

                      Catch you all later.
