Anyway, I'm having trouble with the double posts too. And liking posts, too. Also, I'm not sure that the new posts thing is working. I was getting worried about Penellype, as her allotment thread never seems to come up. So, I've gone looking and there she is, safe and sound and posting as normal. Which is excellent news.
In other news, I'm having a very tedious afternoon. One of the fridges we use as a cupboard for dry goods needs to go back to its original purpose due to our big lockdown shops. And it is stuffed full of flours, beans, pasta, spices, sugar, salts and I don't know whatever else. I have nowhere to put it all... I'm that aggravated that my current thinking is to sling it all in a hammock and hang it from the ceiling!
Afternoon all, lovely day with our daily exercise walk taking in a visit to the beach a mile from our home, keep safe and sane. I will have a word with admin tomorrow and see what the status is re the site and its poor working.
Afternoon peeps
Ended up being a nice afternoon after all!
Rary -I 've spent ages each day removing double posts -don't worry about them -you're not the only one
A mile from the beach Burnie?.....fantastic! ...I'm hoping we can go for a picnic near the beach once lockdown is lifted. I love the sound of the waves washing/crashing onto the beach!
There's a lovely sea food restaurant on the north coast that I'm hoping will start selling seafood platters soon even if we can't eat in. Utterly yum!

Thanks for caring & keeping us informed burnie & nicos & the other mods,I don’t know how you have such good patience with the slowness of it. I have to walk away & try to get happy again. Sowing seeds & gardening puts you on a high then you come on here & it drains the happiness away & makes you feel low, hopefully it will run normally again soon.
Afternoon. Dinner prepared and eaten and obligatory nap after to allow it to digest.
I have been experimenting with bird feeding. I normally feed a mix of wheat, sunflower and lard pellets. The birds have been scratching out all the wheat onto the ground which the pigeons like but I am afraid it will encourage rats.
I am now feeding sunflower seeds only. These are going down slowly, but the little sods have started eating the grass seed I over seeded part of my lawn with.
You just can't win!
Anyway, TTFN and look after yourselves and others.

Good evening all.
We have had a day of wall to wall sunshine.
Spent out in the garden.
We, the over 70' are being allowed out for a walk with a limit of 5 kilometers.
Cant wait as we live just 10 minutes from the park and 15 minutes from the beach.
You really dont appreciate what you have u til you loose it.
Have a good evening all and stay safe.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
I get that the site owners may not be happy that other Forums are being discussed as alternatives to this one but closing down threads ?? The problem has arisen because this Forum has disintegrated and has not been repaired and we haven't been told exactly what the problem is or when to expect it to be rectified. Now I've been totally loyal to this Forum and won't be joining any other one but life is too short to waste it waiting and waiting and waiting. I may come back but for now that's enough.
Thanks Ap.
I started my thread to Admin in good faith as I wanted to tell them what I thought - I don't think I've ever given a link to another Forum but the thread has been locked. At least it hasn't been deleted...yet!
I never had any hope that Admin would actually read what I wrote - it would be ignored like all the other comments that users make.....but, if everyone sits back and doesn't speak out to the only ones who can change it (Admin), there is even less chance that this Forum will be repaired.
Logging in here has become a marathon - once you do get in, its a struggle to post anything.
I don't want friends on here to think I'm ignoring them but I'm not going to waste any more precious time battling with this forum. If its fixed, I may be back. If not, take care everyone. x
Good evening it has been a nice warm sunny day today but at the back of 7 the temperature started to drop quite quickly, again everything in the greenhouse covered I also transplanted some lettuce today so hopefully the cold won't effect them too much as they are not covered, if they don't survive it won't be too bad as I had also transplanted some into the greenhouse bed and talking of bed I might just head there shortly, so wishing you a warm and peaceful day tomorrow, keep your distance, keep safe and most importantly stay happy
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Up until now this morning the vine seems a bit better. Maybe it's a one-off but hopefully it's fixed?
Today should be an interesting day for me. My Daughter runs a Deli and take-away. Her partner in the enterprise has done her back in and can't come in to work today.
In steps the Snadge to help out.
TTFN and take care all.
