Luckily out polling station is just around the corner about a two minute walk.
I know in past times the candidates around here used to collect those with mobility problems and take them to vote. I remember MiLaw and her neighbours being picked up.
    Location....East Midlands.

Sorry folks it's in this one
      https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-32428648

"The Election Commissioner upheld a number of the allegations, including:
Voting fraud: ballots were double-cast or cast from false addresses
False statements made against Mr Rahman's rival Mr Biggs
Bribery: large amounts of money were given to organisations who were "totally ineligible or who failed to meet the threshold for eligibility"
Treating: providing free food and drink to encourage people to vote for Mr Rahman
Spiritual influence: voters were told that it was their duty as Muslims to vote for Mr Rahman. Mr Mawrey cited a letter signed by 101 Imams in Bengali stating it was people's "religious duty" to vote."

There are 14 links to further BBC articles covering this. I used to live near there so followed closely.

What a lot of you don't realise is electoral fraud is endemic in a lot of countries and some people try it on here still! You should come to the Philippines some time. An ex- gaolbird was voted in as Mayor of Manila. Don't stand too close to politicians there at election time, a lot get shot!

I'm not exaggerating. Even McDonalds have bods with combat shotguns but I think that's to keep the customers in!

And we are not shining examples, known dishonest people get elected to high positions here
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

              Sorry!
I started the thread just for a bit of advice about where to complain about locations and their parking facilities. Thanks for all the replies. Obviously from all the advice the way forward for my husband is postal voting. Drive through would be good if it was available.
