A pair of Regatta lined walking trousers from the charity shop, new
with tags for a fraction of the new pair I bought the other year. Love charity shops you never know what you'll find.
Last clothes I bought were 3 pairs of jeans from charity shop in September, when all but one pair of allotment trousers became unfit to wear in public within a few weeks of each other (they had worn through in places where draughts are most unwelcome...)
One pair got cut up and used to patch 2 pairs I already had , plus one of the other pairs from charity shop which had also worn thin in critical places.
The third pair turned out to be too tight and has been kept to one side until well after new years resolutions!
Who'd have thought that when I started this in December, we'd be unable to buy and do so many of things that we could do then.
The supplies we had then are running a bit thin now. At least we don't need any "going out in public" clothes now.
I'm gutted that my boutique at 'Age Concern' has had to close.
No more jumpers for 99p or books for 29p.
I haven't bought new clothes in 20 years, yet my eldest Son thinks nothing of spending over £300 for a pair of trainers!

I am coping fine with my food, but I find that I am so used to going out buying what I fancy, rather than what I have at home. That's a hard habit to break.
I find that I struggle more with isolation. Living on my own, I found Easter hard work mentally. Perhaps actually I was worse at the start of the long weekend, when my enthusiasm was low.
I have so many projects I would like to do, and I did get started with one of them at the weekend. I think I'd be better if I had to stay at home full time, because then I could deal with that. At the moment I'm in the strange inbetween zone where I am still expected to come to work, but could at any time be asked to work from home full time. I'm lucky though, I wouldn't be furloughed.
All in all I think I'm coping remarkably well, compared to some people's behaviour I see around, both at work and in my nearest community.
And how long can I go without buying pallet collars? Apparently a very long time - they appear at my door step delivered by a young grape at the advised distance! Thank you kindly Ghexton - I so appreciate them
Next question is, how long can I go without buying wood preserver for my pallet collars?
