    Thanks Chestnut
If you know any teachers retiring in August, rush to Morries now and buy a £1 bargain!!

If I start it in March, it will end in July 2021. I could buy another one to start in August 2021 and pretend to be an academic.

On and off over the years I have kept some kind of diary.
Sometimes it was just a line a day or something written on a calendar.
It's interesting to look back on but nothing earth shattering.
Glad I did it and will continue to do so.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Currently I am working on writing down 3 things that made me happy during the the day, or achievements, something positive. I am finding it much better that a to do list which focuses on what is left to do rather than what I have done... A to do list always gets longer no matter what to manager to tick off and you never get celebrate, while every achievement entry is time to rejoice... or at least have a cup of tea and a smile

I have my happy thoughts on stickies around my PC!

If I kept a diary, I'd need to rename it. 'Book of Moans' or something of a similar ilk. I'm best letting the days just ebb and flow without marking a moment or event.

Yip. I still need the sun!!!!!

I don't keep a diary, but since January last year I've been keeping a garden journal. New garden and new greenhouse, so lots of seed sowing etc.

It's been really useful already. I really want to sow things, but can look back and see when I sowed last year, how long till things germinated, kept on windowsill or wherever. Helps me restrain myself! Also helps me plan what to do next.

I think I've been able to keep it up because it is useful, whereas an actual diary would seem like a chore that would soon become a bind.
Mostly flowers, some fruit and veg, at the seaside in Edinburgh.

I like to take a photo of my plot every time I’m there, which makes a kind of photo diary - simply a record of what is, rather than plans or lists I don’t keep up with ;-)

.............and so, I bought another 17 month Diary today, just in case I should need one. Maybe I'll decide soon when to start using the 1st one.

I really did want to write something but the most exciting thing that happened that day was one of the chooks laid an egg. Yes, that's how exciting my life is.

Today, in Morries, I spotted a "17 Month Undated Organiser" with a shiny cover covered in unicorns and the words "Something magical". Its spiral bound, with an elastic strap to keep it closed and lots of pages. Better still, it was reduced to £1.

Even more puzzling is..........why 17 Months???

                    Any suggestions (keep it clean!).
Possibly so that it could be sold for a £1.00

When I saw the title I thought, she's going to cut back when it's just a short 5 year sentence
