So glad we are still allowed to take walks for exercise - that means we can continue to walk to, from and around our allotments. After all, it’s as good a place to ‘get food’ as any supermarket!
This afternoon I saw two pigeons rubbing necks and wrapping themselves round each other ever so lovingly (billing and cooing???). As I was telling my husband what I was watching and commenting how it looked as if Spring was in the air they (blink and you miss it) mated and the male disappeared in a flash. I guess we'll have baby pigeons this year (but maybe to a single parent).
Still .... hope for the future.
Last night we ate a tube of Swedish brown beans.
Sarriss will know what I'm talking about
Comfort food Swedish style -really yummy!
Our Swedish friends brought over a couple of tubes in their luggage to remind them of our time there this time last year.

A nest full of beautiful blue blackbird eggs.
Although the daft things have built a nest at head height in an evrgreen hedge at the fork of two paths, so putting the route up through middle of the garden out of bounds until they've fledged!
Being ' almost' confined to the house and garden is proving to be rather pleasant.
I've no pressure/deadlines and got so much to chose from which needs doing, I shalln't be bored!
It's really lovely spending so much more time with my OH too
I'm sure I'll feel differently in a few weeks though!
Yes, it's scarey out there, but at home it's actually very pleasant
