Did anyone else have to suffer a knitted swimsuit? there used to be a photo at home of me coming out of the swimming pool struggling to hold mine up. Once it was wet I’m sure it sagged down to my knees.
Yes, I also had knitted trunks which didn't leave much to the imagination. Some clothes came from the army and navy surplus shop, I spent some of one year dressed as a Japanese general.
