Deleting any that are earlier then 2025 seems a reasonable idea.
All forums seem to have "stickies" and to the best I can tell they are all just about ignored and people ask/post in the main forum anyway.
Present there is one asking What exactly is a "sprouter"?
And in the pile above is a sticky saying what they are.
So obviously not read.

Generally if people are new to the forum and don't know their way around they will look at the main topics and the stickies will be the first thing that they see. These often cover the most relevant topics for newbies coupled with the most popular that "gardening gurus" refer to.
At the end of the day it is difficult to please everyone.Last edited by Scarlet; 29-01-2020, 04:34 PM.

What a sprouter actually *is*
Having had a bit of a search around I couldn't find a mapping from number of posts on to status so I put a slave on to it.
This seems to be the mapping:
seedling
sprouter 100
rooter 250
tuber 500
cropper 1000
early fruiter 2000
mature fruiter 5400
it all goes a bit mad after that...
edit just noticed this from Kirk
And in the pile above is a sticky saying what they are.I live in a part of the UK with very mild winters. Please take this into account before thinking "if he is sowing those now...."

Germinator is the very first designation. I only noticed because I became a seedling on the thread about 'Whats a Sprouter'Anything is possible with the right attitude, a hammer
and a roll of duct tape.

If you mean 'Is there a button to say you don't like a post ' ...then nope.
But you could quote the post and then add a or even a"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

At some point you become a "Garden Guru" and, when you reach 20,000 posts you can ask to have your own designation.
Mods can choose and amend their own designation whilst they are Modding and that stays with them once they stand down.
