^I think it's bonkers too. But I remember a while back, either here or the other place, that there was some concern about public comments and the legal situation for the forum. Anyway...

Kirk, such chopping boards do exist. UK Amazon has a few on the first page if you search for "chopping board with collection tray". Adapting an existing chopping board might not be too difficult.

So would chickens actually eat messengers then?

Ask yourselves, how do you STOP a chicken,or any animal for that matter, eating what it likes when free roaming around your veg patch, they not daft, feed em some corn and the crushed egg shells all helps, mine are having pellets as well, read about only giving them a percentage of so called treats per day,try tell them that when they out on free range, when i have chucked them veg, rice pasta ext, they will only eat what they want,i have also been giving mine the fresh greens from the net cage.

Ah! an expert. Please do tell me, what is the purple one for, since I don't often slice up grapes or members of the clergy during Lent or Advent?

(Don't tell Mrs quanglewangle I asked)

I've looked at those posh sets from what I remember the purples ones are for nuts because of allergies anyway I shan't tell Mrs QW you asked.

Mine are just a collection of 3 wooden boards, 1 green then 2 difference sized white ones.
