I always buy leeks as plugs - well when they are thin pencil width. Last year picked them up at Gardening Scotland show and year before at a local plant sale. Had no success growing from seed. Any ideas where would be good for them? Had a quick look last night and all I could see was 20 for about 6 quid plus delivery so not cheap. I was looking for maybe 50. Any ideas welcome. Unless I just wait and hope I can pick them up when things ease a bit? Dont usually get them until about May.

I'm not struggling to buy seeds. I bought quite a bit online about 2 weeks ago from my regular seller. I'm struggling at being patient for them to be delivered.

Most of it was my fault. I waited too long to order. Shortly after I ordered the site put up a page saying they are temporarily stopping new orders until they catch up on the huge number of orders already received.
