  • Garden Scooter recommendations?

Looking for recommendations on whether or not I should get one and if I get one which one should it be?

Nice to see you again - DW.

You may need to tell us what "scooter" means on the other side of the pond. A scooter to me is something kids have that they scoot along with one foot.

      Thanks veggiechicken!

Here's one. It took me a while yesterday to find out a name for these.

I have neuropathy in my legs and have problems walking in the vegetable bed (due to uneven ground) even with a cane. I did about an hour of work yesterday on my hands and knees. I could just get a pair of knee pads I guess.

        That looks fun!!
Never seen one of those but I'm imagining myself in the supermarket, scooting along between the aisles.

With luck, someone sensible will be along soon!

I agree with VC about that looking fun, the only garden aid I have is a kneeler that you can turn over to use as a seat.

never seen anything like that before,it reminds me of an an old English hobby horse,{a cycle that was sat upon and scoot with the legs},with a farmyard look,
It would be better if you could try one first,is it sat side saddle or straddled,it could also be very uncomfortable for other parts of the bady,as you use other muscles to make it work, esspecialy on uneven ground, just my thought, would you be better with an engine on something, are you handy at grubbing something up out off what you got about.

That tractor seat swivels and adjusts up and down. As you are working you just scoot around using your feet. There's storage under the seat and, as shown, a place to put a bucket behind the seat.

Wow! That second selection has 2 cup holders. I guess I could have a friend ride on it with me.

The third one has a weight limit of 200 pounds. Even working in the garden naked I wouldn't meet that requirement.

They remind me of those seats mechanics use in garages but have casters instead so wouldn't be very good on grass.
