Raining and I still haven’t managed to lay the turf that arrived yesterday morning.

32*F with 4"+ of snow. Supposed to get into the 40*'s F later so hopefully it will melt off most of it today.

Hazy sun, no wind, 16 °C.

The mackerel have arrived in Mount's Bay so the sea must be warming up. Several jumped onto hooks yesterday and, filleted and pan fried, made a nice outside lunch.

At the moment it's sunny with some wisps of clouds. Later today it should reach 75*F with a 40% chance of rain. (Yesterday was nearly perfect.)

rain! lovely rain! (daren't say that in front my wife who is looking after the small person as I wfh…)
But yes, a good day of soaking rain yesterday - absolutely perfect steady rain all day, so it will have soaked in nicely. And some heavy showers today, that should soak in better than they would if they'd hit dry ground.
