Uploading pictures tutorial?

I didn't know where is the best place to ask technical questions on forum use, so figured I might as well post it here. If it's the wrong place, admins please feel free to move it elsewhere.

I've tried umpteen times to add pictures in my posts. Most attempts have been a complete failure. It only seems possible to post images that are so tiny as to be pointless. Other folk seem to manage, so I guess it is something I'm doing wrong.

Would it be possible for one of the admins to write a little "How to add images" tutorial and pin it somewhere prominent, please? Or maybe there is one already, and I've not spotted it?

I only upload pictures from my android phone, and the camera takes pictures that are far too good quality for the file size limit on these forums. I downloaded an app called Photo & Picture Resizer, and I reduce the images in file size (nothing to do with how large the image is to look at) to no more than 300kb. Then I save that picture, and upload that one and I don't have a problem on these forums.

Good luck! Things may have changed since those threads were posted but they're a start and may work for you.
I do all my stuff on a computer and uploading images from my phone to the computer. Edit/resize them with photo manager.

I did a little testing last month, you should be ok with anything under 900kb, I hope!!
