  • Sprouts for Christmas?

I managed to get some real work done yesterday (about 4 hours worth), and dug over three beds incorporating plenty of compost in the process and getting rid of tonnes of bindweed.

Anyway, I had a quick caterpiller check of my sprouts and this is what I saw. Do you think I'll have some in time for Christmas?

Also a photo of how the plot is looking at the moment (the runner beans are hiding a mass of weeds behind them).

Small but perfectly proportioned as they say. Give them time. The plot look good. Much more space than I have in my garden veg plot.

My sprouts look just like yours Heywayne. I'll be eating them at Christmas whatever size they are - but I think they look on target to be good. Good luck for both of us.

Yep, you might even get some sprouts too
I'm picking half a dozen caterpillars off each plant every other day at the mo. Sprouts are looking just like yours, quite exciting ... mine "blew" last year (~Falstaff) so I tried a diff variety (Roodnerf, Lidl)
