Well, he hasn't responded to my half hundredweight of courgettes, so I don't know how you think a small piece of proxy birthday cake will help.

As the original proposer for the show I was glad to see it finally took place and think it was a great success.
I thought I remembered right & it was you who came up with the idea Snadger, great idea! It's only fitting that you should win at least one category & I think your lovely 'Glad' would have won against anyone's!

Thank you GYO for the Virtual Show and Snadger for such a great idea. I really hope it will be an annual event. It was just great to see everybodies entries and I was really impressed with everything. Well done everybody.
When I saw the categories when they were first announced I was really disappointed as I thought I couldn't enter anything - but hey ho as time went on I found I could enter quite a lot. But it was taking part that was fun. Shame Jennie and Piglet couldn't enter - but there's next year.

Be great if we can all vote next year for the winners, some kind of poll maybe? I've been trying to look "thro the eyes of a judge" so to speak, the only 'easy' category to judge is Snadger's Gladioli!! The 'Any Other...' categories must be especially difficult I think - you can't even compare like with like in those...!

Perhaps the category winners from this year should judge that category next year - that would give Piglet and Jennie the opportunity to show off their veggies.

Have really enjoyed both posting and looking - again please!

                          My gladdy!

Just thought you'd like to see a before and after picture. I laid it out on an old grass seed sack on my greenhouse floor! Once image was cropped it didn't look three bad did it?!

PS I had another in the stalls(to the right) just in case!

Very good Nicos, never thought of that. So long as they don't want me to walk home pushing it.

It would be mean of me to enter, I mean, I would feel rather greedy with all of those first prizes coming my way

Lol PW! The whole concept has been brilliantly executed after Snadgers great suggestion, tho I'd have loved to see a few 'fun' categories too!

Standards have very much impressed us both, to the point that we considered not entering some of our piccies as we didnt stand a chance, but if we didnt enter, then the total entries would have been smaller and those who did win wouldnt have had so much competition, and as its the taking part that matters we knew we'd just have to enter everything we could! Would be nice if the categories for next year were available a lot earlier tho, so we could all plan what we are growing!
                                Blessings
