Hope all will be well, Wellie. I am sure Trousers will be fine, and that those on the Vine will remind him of his duties (not that he will need reminding). He'll probably turn up during the week bearing a laptop so that you can keep up with the news and craic from your bedside (but having carefully censored those threads that will make the SOH bypass null and void).

Hope you are out to enjoy your last jar of relish, with relish, long long before this year's batch are ready.

thanks for all your support, truly touched, Wellie has more tubes than london under ground, and is in good humour as in asking the bemused nurse which one of the drip bottles has the pino grigio in. loads of morphine keep ing the pain away and monitors to pick up all bodily functions accept wind.
good news is ive found the well hidden assorted cheese, the bottle of scotch,i just need the girls nick!.......

once ive cleaned the oven, washed the floors, washed ,ironed, put away,
re painted the cottage top to bottom i will have breakfast and then go and see the old girl.
to be serious, once again thank you for all the humour, well wishes for shelley and the support for yours truly.

I often think it can be worse for the person whose loved one is in hospital, it's that horrible feeling of helplessness.
I wish Wellie the quickest of recoveries, and you Trousers, the strenght you will need not to be having wild parties every night while Wellie is away.
                God bless all of us.

                            Hope all goes well Wellie.

Why didn't I think of asking the 'vine to prompt hubbie when I was in hospital with bubs? I'd send him home with a written list and he'd still manage to forget things off it (usually vital things like clean undies )

If your cat's anything like our black one, he'll demand more fuss as you're missing, and won't shut up either

Hope to see you back on here well

Lol, or be like mine and NOT tidy up 5 mins before I get home

I just asked OH what is "tidy up". He said "huh? what you talking about woman, get back in the kitchen"
