It's funny - I have never heard a man complaining that he has to lift the seat to use the toilet. It never strikes me as a major exercise, so what is all the darned fuss abour? Control?

After 37 years of marriage I have realised that you can't control a man. They do so love to be persuaded though!

Morning, I hope the 2 temporarily male only houses are doing well.

That's great news about Wellie maybe coming home today Trousers - hope you have time to bake a suitable cake for her relaxing cup of tea on arrival in between fluffing up the rugs and cushions in the comfy armchair. Give her my best wishes (can't really say love as while I feel I know you all (on the vine) well by now, I haven't really partaken of things like the "Chat" for you to get to know me).

Scared, I hope you get nice weather for your outdoor projects, leaving you time for getting ready for all your weekend arrivals. By the way, I meant to ask earlier how last week's visitors got on? Scarey, I am sure you are enjoying mother-daughter bonding as well as the nursing duties. I hope Tania is on the mend too.

Have a good day all. (Off to get my head stuck into books, so if anyone sees me here later, tell me to "shoo").

                    Thanks Winged one,

Nice of you to ask. Tania and I are doing fine, in fact, I think the only reason I am here is so that she can spoil ME I've been treated to a v expensive hair cut, loads of good food and general spoiling, all I have to do is all the normal mother/daughter stuff

Good for you Clare - just sit back and enjoy it! I had a bit of that at the weekend too from son and daughter in law and it was great.

Last week's visitors were fine - nice people. We had a good old chat on Friday evening and, in deference to my wife's wishes, I wasn't glued to the Formula 1 qualifying on Saturday morning - but our guests were!

Weather has cleared up today and the sun is shining, just as a load of web work arrived. I've done that, now I'm off out to see what I can do (once I've brought the washing in).

As long as she is home again I shouldn't think she would care.Just take care of her, lots of love and cuddles!
