Bubble wrap

I'm looking for inspiration on what to do with all this bubble wrap I received today (2 Jamie Oliver serving platters in one huge box and copious amounts of bubble wrap).

I obviously don't want to throw it away, I don't have a greenhouse (well not a propper one anyway), and there aren't really any plants that I could use it to cover.

I've just made some cold frames of sorts out of old bed bases, and I managed to get the brother-in-law to save the plastic from his new bed.

Any ideas? Maybe a mini Eden Project? Now, there's an idea....

Bubblewrap is useful for all sorts of things. Very good insulating properties, so maybe you could use some of it to line your coldframe. If the sheets are big enough you could use them to make cloches, you can use them to pack things you are sending through the post (especially if you are an Ebay fan). I stand seedtrays on polystyrene foam sheets in the cold greenhouse during early spring (keeps the bottom of the trays warm - I suppose you could use bubble wrap). If all else fails it's very satisfying to just sit there and pop the bubbles - my granddaughter loves doing that.

Although I'm sure Bazzaboy (recycling king!) will think of a good use for it!

Thanks for the tips peepholes, I will be putting the bubble wrap (note the gap) to good use.

In fact, it's already started. I had some floor tiles delivered yesterday (this weekends job), and laid the boxes on the bubble wrap on the dining room floor so's not to scratch the varnish that I applied the weekend before.

We're going to be putting a number of things on Fleabay this weekend, so I guess it'll come in handy for that (thanks rustylady), and I think I'll use the rest for the cold frame thingy I made.
