Lovely cat pics. especially the wild/found ones with stories attached, like 'Splodge' lying with paws in the air & belly waitng to be rubbed! We're in danger of becoming the 'mad cat woman/man' site again!Into every life a little rain must fall.

Thanks Mapcr77. Just love that pic and that cat. Glad to know I'm not the only case who takes pics of cats on my travels. I think I've got pics of cats from everywhere I've ever been. Keep your pics coming everybody. I love them all.
From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

I was going to advise you Alice, to get a cat with a sense of humour, but even here in France, I felt my cat tap me on the shoulder reminding me that she actually chose me... not t'other way round. Silly Wellie!
I do firmly believe, that you're either 'A Dog Person' or 'A Cat Person', and largely, the animal kind of sorts it out for themselves from there? And it's taken BC the best part of 5 years to go from semi-feral cat to: "Oh go on, let me jump out and grab you by the ankles at the end of every raised vegetable bed in the whole garden to make you scream with laughter because I know you love it........". The more I scream with laughter, the more she does it. Honestly, I've never experienced that kind of special bond before now, and I guess there would be very many more of you on this thread with similar stories to tell!

Seasprout, your ginger mog, Freddy, is massive! Did cat's protection say anything about your kitten having a touch of lion in it's heritage.....?Last edited by Hazel at the Hill; 03-11-2007, 01:39 AM.

I know he's bit large for his age (not fat just big) cos when he was last at the vets for MOT the amount of worming stuff for his size cost over a fiver, his sister (the ex-runt) her stuff came to 2 quid.
Last pictures now....I'm off to chop up my pumpkin.

I'm a dog & a cat person Wellie - & a rabbit, hamster, tortoise, fish etc.etc. person! I've had cats & a dog & loved them all equally. O.H. on the other hand is definitely a dog person but has come round to the cat slowly but surely, funnily enough I think she senses he's more a dog man as she doesn't really like him & only occasionally allows him to scratch her head. On the whole though she not keen on men at all - sensible girl!
Your cats are gorgeous Seasprout, Freddy definitely thinks he's top 'dog' though, always sitting at the top of things!Last edited by SueA; 03-11-2007, 05:39 PM.Into every life a little rain must fall.

But do you get my drift Sue?
I have a gorgeous client, who I 'house sit' for, who has a lurcher, a gorgeous 'floor mop', guinneas, rabbits, chickens, coy, house fish, gerbs and you can indeed love them all, but I'm still a cat girl at heart, and always have been.
