Thanks for the reminder Piglet. And it will be dark at 6PM ! Boo Hoo ! And it will get darker by 28 minutes a week until 23rd December when it will start to get lighter - but I never notice until about mid January when I notice it is still light after 4PM. Gee whiz, it comes as a surprise every year. I hate those dark days.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

Extra 4 hours in bed tomorow as I am off shift.....
Get up at 10am down the cafe.. and then off to the plot for a bit of a tidy then home and a watch of sky....the kids are in bed so I have hidden the remote to give me a fighting chance at a good channel.

        Thanks for that Piglet,

Some people don't need to worry about getting up, those of us who are retired (and their visiting Wellingtons) can just get up when we want

            Oh, I don't know.....
It's Klever Keith's turn to let the dogs out in the morning..... and besides, he needs to get up and out the door to get the wood to build some new railings, and Clare and I were just 'a nuisance' in the car today because he didn't have to room to fit the planks in from the Montlucon Merchant, so we'd only be doing him a favour really....
Clare - Croissant or Pain au Chocolat with your coffee sweetie?!

This is when I turn into a mushroom - go to work in the dark, go home in the dark, and have the s**** thrown at me all day for the privelege haha!!
Life may not be the party we hoped for but since we're here we might as well dance

Ha Ha Ha - so we'll get woken by the kids at 05:00 instead of 06:00

Yey! For the first time in 8 years I'm not on night duty on clock changing night so I get to spend the extra hour in bed instead of at work!

And, from the voice of experience, if you haven't cleaned it recently, make sure the inside of your car windscreen is clean. Monday night will be your first ride home in the dark. The glare of oncoming headlights can turn your windscreen into a blinding fog. Its not too bad in well lit areas, but once you get on to country lanes with no street lighting, its frightening.

I hate putting the clocks back How do the farm animals know that the clocks have chainged. It was a big scam there was suposed to have been a acident involving school kids in a villadge carnt remember where of had but it never happend
why carnt they leave it alown.
It means you go to work in the dark and come home in the dark thats why there are so many people suffering from SAD.
but yes we get an extra hour in bed
Some things in their natural state have the most VIVID colors
