  • New grapes!

Hello, we are Monty and Sebbie,

This is our first posting ever! though, now and then Sebbie does walk over the key board, its the first time we have posted proper.

Been stuck inside all weekend, and they are decorating, the smell....its bad, very bad- does not smell like home at all!

Still, the suns out today and I (Monty) have gone over to the plot in search of a wee snack! The pumpkin patch has been dug- its all beautiful soft soil, just how I like it, maximum amount of earth on my feet all nice and muddy to walk back into smelly house - revenge for the smells of paint and varnish that we (brother and I) have to contend with. Talking of brother he is sound asleep by the stove. The trees are loosing their leaves now, climbing the small Victoria plum tree is far more easy now! it had so many plums this year making it hard work to get up to the top spindly branches. Got shouted at in the summer for snapping said spindly branches. Hope you don't mind us posting? We do have questions to ask though.
Like, why do they block both ends of the cloches off?

Please read our profile, as we don' want to cause confusion!, but as we spend lots of time on the plot, we hoped we could join in here too!

        Hello Monty and Sebbie,

A very warm welcome to the vine - you've chosen a great fireplace to curl up next to

Our family has 2 of those unmentionable creatures (Dogs) who would just LOVE to play with you, too bad they are in France and can't get over to visit on their own

Welcome to the Vine, boys - and don't be shy, lets see a piccy of you!

And blocking off the cloche ends? Stops you two playing hide and seek, as well as stopping the wind whistling down and damaging the plants.
