Blessings to all.
Thanks Mrs D for typing all that up. I'm not a follower of any religion but if I were, it's the pagan path that appeals most. Have you read any of Alan Garner's books? They're for children really but he's written some marvellous stuff revolving around Alderly Edge.

ps I reckon you're more likely to have the real King Arthur up there, than the one we get down here at Avebury!Originally posted by smallblueplanet View PostYeah. However King Arthur and his 'mates' come over to Avebury and do a few ceremonies, oddly they all normally happen on a weekend.

I went down to Stonehenge the other week (I was in Andover visiting relatives and got bored of the endless cups of tea and aimless conversation! haha) It was a really drizzly grey day and the one thing that struck me (even though I've been there before loads of times) was how many faces I could see in the stones! Really spooky.Live for something or die for nothing
