      Gentle Thought for a Friday:

It's important that people know what you stand for. It's equally important that they know what you won't stand for.

Some good quotes, though I agree day 2's was a bit taxing - and I love Flummerys. I do like this thought for the day idea, most uplifting.

Oh Goody! Well, here's today's for you:

To love is the great amulet that makes this world a garden.

Unfortunately, weeds weren't mentioned! But no matter.....
                  Onward.
And I like this one today:

Love is a fruit in season at all times.

                      Think it's Monday? I don't think so ! - and here's why:

If I had my life to live over, I would start barefoot earlier in the spring, and stay that way later in the fall.

I would go to more dances.
                      I would ride more merry-go-rounds.
                      I would pick more daisies.
                      (Nadine Stair)

I'm going to start with Daisies....

There's another saying that comes to mind - "When the gorse is in flower, kissing's in season."

                        Fortunately it flowers all year!

every day should be lived like its a Friday - or at least for those of us with boring 9-5s!

Love is like a fruittree - my OH would probably say something about the creepies trying to climb it hmmm!

The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mystery.
                            (Albert Einstein)

Now that's rather lovely I think...

Oh yes, Einstein. Great man. He also said, "Not everything that is important can be measured and not everything that can be measured is important." I often think that when my ears are being assaulted by government statisticians.
