  • Fake Tan !

This is a really quick visit to the Grapevine tonight. Been in rehearsal all afternoon for our 2-Act comedy opening on Wednesday with a full dress rehearsal. My Johnson Summer Holiday "tanned legs" didn't meet requirements and the American Tan tights, looked well just like American Tan tights

Can anyone - yes you NTG and PW as well recommend a good fake tan that I might be able to get tomorrow and have for the final dress rehearsal on Tuesday evening.

Only got a Boots here, so nothing fancy please ........... thankyou Just off for my tea ......... but perhaps I'll get a chance to speak later.

Hmm - the only fake tan I've ever used is the like moisuriser which builds up the tan gradually which would be no good for you, would it?

Can't you get something from a stage makeup supplier? If I remember rightly it needs to be quite orange to look natural tan under stage lights anyhoo

                Gravy browning?

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

                    Hi Jennie,

How about tan colour stocking, just put it on and it will be readily tan as for face and hands, perhaps some cosmetic with those bronze color effect ( never use it before)
And good luck for the show...

Hi Jennie, I think you should be able to buy Fake Bake in Boots. Been looking at it to see the manufacturer but not obvious. It does a good job in one go but is a bit messy so put the old sheets on the bed and look out the old towels. Any of the St Tropez products do a good tanning job and I'm sure you can get them in Boots. Whichever one you use, and I'm sure Boots will have their own brand, use an exfoliator first. You'll get much less streaking and it will last longer. Good luck with the play.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

Oh! Wear a disposable glove when you put it on or you will end up with orange hands!

Trouble with "fake" tan is the bits where the skin is thiner can become deeper brown that the rest unless you are careful
