Well no snow here yet, but it has gotten colder since this morning. I had to do the creche drop, which meant a coffee stop, and both of those were fine. But not having done a bottle of milk stop, I had to go out a few minutes ago for that, and it is MUCH MUCH colder now - my back has seized up again which only happens when it is very cold and it was fine this morning.
Luckily, the builders put the windows in yesterday, so at least there are far fewer cold draughts coming in to the house!!!
I absolutely love snow, and it is one of the things I look forward to every winter, though the occasions when we get it are getting fewer and fewer.
In 1999, my son was born 3 months premature just before christmas and was in special care. A week later we had loads of snow overnight and my wife and I dragged our friends out and played like kids for a good couple of hours, probably as a stress relief.
It was still around for christmas day when we went to visit him in hospital, which I chose to see as a good sign because I enjoyed it so much.
Veni, Vidi, Velcro.
I came, I saw, I stuck around.
Ha ha. Going slightly off topic, but one of my favourite "tall" comments is - "is that dandruff or a snowcap on your head". It shows imagination at least!
