It was so cold today I didn't do much actual gardening, just tidied up a bit, watered the houseplants. Then it started raining so I decided I might as well put a floor in the living quarters of the new guineapig run as promised. Heck it was just as cold in the workshop. However, mission accomplished - hope daughter will be pleased. I have a sore shoulder and one blister from the screwdriver.

Daughter will be overjoyed with that!
Perhaps you could paint it all a nice green to blend in with the lawn? !!
Ruddy cold here in Norfolk, the gritters were out last night but needlessly. I managed to get OH out on the bike instead of driving into town. He burnt off 10 calories biking, and 200 whingeing about the cold. All gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.

You're right Rustylady, it is cold. I didn't go ot to do anything - just enjoyed my home comforts and watched the rain, wind and sleet through the window. Oh well, it is November. The coldest we've had for a few years.
