I'm 32 and I'm quite a bit salt and peppered on the sides (they've even started appearing in my beard now if I let it grow long enough!). Could be worse, you could be going bald.. My brother-in-law is 27 and is pretty much hairless already.

Gee am I lucky I have a few bits of grey mostly in my beard & still have hair (see avatar)& no sign of a bald spot.

first grey hair = 22, if i now let my beard grow a bit i have two pure white lines that run from the corners of my mouth (looks like i am permanently dribbling milk) i gave up years ago worrying about grey hairs, it is always a losing battle and now am just thankful i am not losing it. am fast approaching the beginning of my life (so people keep telling me) and now have about equal numbers of white and dark brown hairs, and if my grandparents are anything to go by will end up almost pure white (dad is there already)

would be wary of using hair dye though, there is a fatal disease that lists one of its causal/risk factors as excessive use of hair dye. i did a project/presentation about it at work and read quite a few medical papers on the subject. i prefer to grow older disgracefully

I'm 35, and been getting white hair for about 10 years. I haven't found that my brain functions any better when the white is dyed than when I leave it alone so now I concentrate on life instead of whether people think I'm old or not

My dear wife is a lot, lot younger than me.
She is getting grey hair, whilst i have a full head of hair and not a grey hair in sight.

I'm not sure if that should be telling me something.
            God bless all of us.

I've been 'going grey' for years, found my first grey hair at about 23 (funny, the same year I got married haha!). I've been all sorts of shades of red and brown over the years, some very bright and cheerful. You enjoy Claire, have fun with the changing seasons and join our club!!

There is only one cure for grey hair. It was invented by a Frenchman. It is called the guillotine.

putting blonde on the barnet gives me a get-out for all sorts mind you, there was a time in the dim distant past when it was blonde all by its clever self.....now, I get to chose between:
                        blonde moments
                        senior moments
                        blonde senior moments
