Oh Zebedee, you sound like my kind of pud!

So I'd be..............mmmmm Roast lamb with potatoes and veg and loads of gravy, lover of traditions followed by home made icecream, any flavour, love making new ones each time. In other words, love cooking it, love eating it. Relieved to cover up the evidence under winter clothes!!!!

Owd Roger not that easy to get & my local is a Marstons house(unless you buy it bottled)
How about a pint of Coach House "Gunpowder" mild?

Not tried that one. Though i do like the Highgate mild.
Yes i have only found the Owd Roger bottled. As for tho Old Peculier our local off licence do 4 pint bottles for a fiver. I have taken them up on this offer on so many occasions that i am now known as "The Old Peculier Guy".Not a great title!! Should i ask them to stock me some "Handsome Bloke" to change the name i have been given??

Since when has deep fried Mars Bar been Scots through and through???? What happened to good old porridge (another thread)?
I remember staying at Fort William and the American tourists coming into the cafe for a "Traditional Scottish Breakfast" of haggis and neeps. I never saw one of them actually eat the stuff! I also remember the furtive fisherman sneaking 'round the back with a very large salmon. That night there would be salmon steaks on the menu, the best I've ever tasted.
