    Thanks again everyone

Shirl, I often get a warm glow when you and Madmax talk about each other. It's so lovely when two people so obviously love each other to bits!

I can't imagine ever wanting to get married again (so many complexities ). For now at least, I'm very happy to be enjoying my children and my home and of course my allotment!
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

      Good luck to you Claire.

There does seem to be a large number of numpties out there who give us arf decent fellas a bad name. I'm a firm believer in Kharma (and in many buddhist philosophies)though, so I'm confident you will find happiness, whether that be in the form of a new dude, or in a greenhouse.

Shirl - totally agree, there are some good ones out there amongst the chaf! I found myself one on the second attempt and wouldn't be without him now. Though it's unlikely we'll actually marry, been there and done that already, doesnt seem the same need any more!

Claire, (and the rest of us in similar positions) your life now is out there for the taking, you will find whatever it is you really want!
Life may not be the party we hoped for but since we're here we might as well dance

Might have known you'd be into Kharma Wayne with your 'My Name is Earl/ Wayne' avatar!
Claire just be happy in yourself & don't rush into anything, except perhaps your new greenhouse!

I always vowed never again and then 6 months later met Mr C who we both agree should have met each other years before, I'm so happy now!

There are numpty women as well as men, well basically there are some numpty people. I spent 30 years (25 married) to one of the male species.

I spent 5 years kissing frogs after the divorce then I met my soulmate. I will love him forever although he died two years ago. I am so lucky to have learnt that not all people are numpties and you can find someone you want to spend your every waking hour with and more importantly they want to spend their's with you.
