  • Christmas quiz

Every year, my design agency sends me a Christmas card with a quiz that one of their directors (chap I consider a friend of mine) devises.

It consists of 50 cryptic clues to bands or artists (music) names, For the past three years I've managed - with the help of my father-in-law to get all of them right, and last year we won the draw. Anyway, this years arrived in the post this morning and I wondered if you would like me to post the questions on here just for fun (if the mods don't mind that is...), you could then pm me your answers on a chosen date, and hopefully if I have all the answers myself, I'll pick a "winner" at random.

Example: Little visages - Small Faces. That kinda thing (that's not one of this years questions by the way.)

Let me know the general consensus (with mods permission).

I'd give it a go if you're allowed Wayne. I'm not too hot on those cryptic type of things though, someone posted a similar one about flowers & plants on another forum & it took me ages to work them out & there were 2 that I just couldn't get however hard I tried but they were really obvious when I saw the answers, one question was 'ground cover for a band' & the answer was 'bugle'.

Love the idea, struggling with the questions. Hampered by the fact that I'm of mature years and don't know a lot of the modern bands. Will try, however.
