Ooh, and extra points to you Madmax for that lovely bit on the end
Thanx Scarey - but I tire of travelling now. The exciting sound of roaring aircraft turbines has worn thin and it is nice just to be at home (when I get home!!). But it is great seeing different places and living the life. There is a big world out there and lots to witness. Some good and really heartwarming, and some chilling and heart wrenching.

But I stand by what I say about the bestest place for me to live...!! Nowhere can compare to that!
    Let's go diggin' dirt....

Cut your engines, cool your wings,
    You've taken me home...

Born - Sunderland (was Co. Durham then, I think)
Lived in various houses in the Seaburn area til we moved to Yorkshire 20 years ago.
Since then I've lived in 10 different houses all within a 6 mile radius of Skipton... Not very adventurous am I?!

I thought that as i was typing it out, could have just cut and pasted your list

yes of course i miss it, i do go down quite often though, i have a daughter from a failed relationship who lives with her mum so i like to see her as often as i can. my sis still lives in St Austell, Mum & Dad in Newquay and have a load of rellies that still live around Bodmin. I also have an aunt in Oz, when i lived there i visited and she used to say that even after 35 years in NSW she still thought of Cornwall as home.
