10 years younger!

last night at 'the do' (sore head) I'm told I don't look fifty+, I'm told I look early 40's - again, this has happened to me throughout my adult life. First time was in my early 30's ....well, it would have been silly if I was told it when I was ten wouldn't it..

Himself is sulking (slightly) today cos he is getting fed up with people saying I look much younger than him - he is only a mere 46

Isn't it strange, when you are young you want to look older, and when you are old(ish) you want to look younger. I think age is more in the mind than in the looks, but have to admit to being chuffed when people say I don't look old enough to have six and a half grandchildren.

Totally agree with that Rustylady - I was blessed with a 'sunny disposition' and am ever grateful to whoever gave it to me

I'm sure that most days I look every inch of my 40 years but even with four kids in tow I've been asked if I'm old enough when buying a bottle (or two!) Lol!
