'im indoors, wants to know what the collective name for gardening nerds is?

Although the term 'anorak' might suit, it is a term already in common usage from train spotter types.

He thought the term 'welly' might be good, or 'clod opper' but neither of them have that certain ring, do they?

Any one got any other ideas they could throw into the pot...

          An allotment of gardeners?
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

After a lovely Roast Lunch, with purple sprouts from our garden, Trousers has just 'excused himself' and suggested: Garden Guffs. (See Wellie spray the cat with G&T...)

My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)
