Prepare yourself for an epic thread!
Today I received a small parcel from Santa (Thompson & Morgan) which included 10 packets of vegetable seeds and a £10 gift voucher!
Veggie seeds were:-
1) Tomato Tamina, huge crop, outstanding taste!
2) Pepper Orange Bell, will compliment my Orange Banana tomatoes
3) Carrot Honeysnack, another different variety to try!
4) Herby salad leaf mixed, can be grown all year round!
5)Lettuce Mini Green, mini iceberg hearts!
6) Pak choi White F1 Hybrid, always looking for something new to try!
7) Courgette Tristan F1 hybrid, scratch free foliage!
8) Brussel Sprout Maxmus F1 Hybrid, should compliment my own self saved sprouts seed!
9) Cauliflower Clapton F1 hybrid, clubroot resistant, looking forward to trying this very new hybrid on my clubroot infested land!
10) Cabbage Kilaton F1 hybrid, clubroot resistant, an improvement on kilaxy which I grew with great success this year!
Thanks to Thompson & Morgan (where did they get there inside information about veggies I will enjoy growing?) for sponsoring the Grow Your Own online show and for all the above seeds including the £10 gift voucher!
I would also like to thank Grow your Own Magazine and all the other sponsors who made the show the success it was. Thanks must also go to Piglet Willie and Jennie Atkinson for judging the show and Dave for his help and liason and all the unamed faces in the background who made it a success.
Whilst I'm on a roll (ta diddle ah tiddle ah dah!!!) thanks to all the members of the forum for making it the happy family it is, and Merry Christmas to you all!
