Before Lady Wayne and I went on honeymoon (Sri Lanka & The Maldives), we'd read somewhere that mosquitos didn't like Marmite, so they suggested a teaspoon full every morning. I jumped at the chance, Lady Wayne took some convincing...
i think it is Vitamin B6 that the mossies don't like, although it has not been scientifically proved. Marmite has loads on B vitamins in it. I took Vit B6 and B12 supplements on holiday once and got eaten alive

I think that only works in you use it like sun tan lotion! The good point you go a lovely shade of brown!
