  • Gardening wish list

(Can't you tell I'm tucked up on the sofa suffering with a winter bug, nothing to do but ask silly questions! )

Okay, you've had the xmas pressies, you've now got lots of socks and strange shaped lingerie! What gardening stuff do you wish had been wrapped up under the christmas tree?

I think I'd have wanted a load of well-rotted manure! Or a couple of nice faux stone planters to re-pot my two olive trees into.
To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower

Being greedy now, but here we go:
    1. A large bale of multipurpose comost
    2. A trailerful of well rotted horse/cow manure
    3. A lemon tree (no idea where I could keep it)
    4. A huge greenhouse with heating so I could keep the lemon tree
    5. Enough money to buy and heat aforesaid lemon tree
    6. Enough time to tend the garden, the allotment and the wished for greenhouse

I'm seriously considering buying a life size garden flamingo with some of my Christmas money
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Now seahorse you're just having a laff? Okay I'll bite, why would you want a life-size flamingo in your garden?!

Erm... 'just because' really I was actually looking for flamingo fairy lights (yes, I know... equally pointless! ) when I noticed the garden ones!
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom

My heart going boom boom boom

                Blimey!

Are you gonna create a garden area for it?

                    1. Some rotted manure
                    2. Someone to dig over the new patch in the field, preferably George Clooney but I'll settle for anyone really.
                    3. Sunshine
                    4. A calm day - ie no wind

Hmm .......... might get no. 2 but the rest is a bit fancifal me thinks.

Not sure I'd want George to waste his energy digging...

I didn't get a single gardening related present - well apart from the 2 packets of seeds that Lady Wayne put in my "table gift".

I'm thinking about picking myself a propagator up over the weekend, and I might buy a bird table (could build one I know, but by the time I've bought the bits...).

I'd have loved a pair of decent secateurs.

Other than that, there's not really much I want.

How did you know I'd got some strange shaped lingerie?

Its that 'look' in your avatars eye!

While you're not making a bird table, do remember to consider not making a bird box?

I didn't get any gardening gifts either. Would love a bird table, a lemon tree, orange tree and a new wheelbarrow. Birthday soon so might get gardening things then.
