  • Christmas Clanger

So, for this year's Christmas clanger. (last year I eBayed a gift and the giver found out )

My Sis had flu on Boxing Day, and texted me "I am Bored" so I texted her back "me too. Am at Inlaws for 9 hrs. you can't be as bored as me"
My stoopid phone then sent the message to one of my inlaws

I'm keeping a low profile now, until about 2009

    Whoops!
Never trust technology. It's operated by people!
Hope it hasn't spoiled your Christmas and New Year break (or taught you to be untruthful!)

An even worse way to start a new year though

Oops. Haven't managed to do that yet, I can barely send text messages. However, it's a bit like when you're in the pub and everyone's really loud - you're talking (or shouting) to your mates and then everything goes really quiet just as you open your mouth and put your foot in it.

              Ouch!
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

This thread reminded me of a girl on a team I used to work on. She was blabbing on to one of her sisters in email about the other sister's boyf who was a waste of space etc, etc. She then sent it by mistake to the sister she was talking about

Oh, and my sister was emailing a friend of hers when I was pregnant with my first, saying about how she was sure he'd be overdue as I'm really tardy etc, etc. As she was thinking about me, she then accidentally put me in the recipients list. The first I knew of it was a panicked phone call saying how she was sorry and it wasn't meant in a bad way etc, etc... I hadn't had time to open her email so had no idea what she was blabbering on about!
