My New Years resolution is NOT to make any resolutions because I always finish up breaking them after a week or two!
My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)

    Diversify & prosper

      Mine are:

to be more organised and try really hard to keep the house tidy

if practicable, to do the Race For Life in memory of my step-Father (and if not, to find another way to raise money for cancer charities)

to go away for an entire weekend without my children, to meet up with some dear friends

to spend less time with Mr Smirnoff, Kate Bush and Kirsty MacColl and more time with books, knitting and stitching

Good luck to all of us! :0

Btw Minty - my six year old has just asked if you're Bill Bailey!
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Heigh ho Jennie, at least it comes off faster at first if there's more to go

I was advised to work out 10% and aim for that as a first milestone, rather than thinking about the total all at once. It's definately better for morale that way, whichever diet you choose to follow.

My goals for 2008 are to sort out my finances, enjoy my kids more (they're growing up so fast ), and set the bar a little higher for my 'getting fit without breaking myself' regime.

Interesting, where do you source your seeds from Ami?

Girls! Your men absolutely adore you, so just continue being Gorgeous for 2008....
It's not easy being Gorgeous. No?! There you are then..... sorted.

And both Trousers and me/I are going to 'kill two birds with one stone' in that we have Freezers full of gorgeous vegetables and soups, and INSTEAD OF a full evening meal, we're going to have homemade soup every evening until the freezers are empty.
That way, we'll be minimising the number of calories that we'll be taking to bed with us, AND LOADS of FIVE A DAY seeping into our bodies without even 'trying'....

Wellie, they sound yum, but won't it get a bit boring soup every night for what sounds like quite a while?

Well Trousers does want to lose about 2 stone Shortie! but no, there are millions of Corn on the Gob, and casseroles for a change at weekends. It all has to be used up before we move to France you see....
