Mine has to start with a lose weight, but like Flum I'm going to set myself a goal of 8 lbs but by May (swimsuit time in Spain hopefully!).

and ........ I really want to try and
    • be more organised
    • tidy up after myself and not have a blitz once a week (garden, craft room and house)
    • and sit and read a good book a bit more often instead of under the covers at night.

Reduce my car use to the absolute bare minimum is my main one. Has the double benefits of saving money and getting my fitness up also.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I can't make NY Ressies, it doesn't work for me. I have to do them as and when. I have a fairly good willpower for that type of thing, so if i get a bee in my bonnet about something, then i will do it. I gave up smoking 2 & 1/2 years ago with no help (patches and stuff don't work) these aren't ressies they are just things i need to do more. (he say's trying to convince himself)

.Get down the lottie more often.
            .sow more varieties.

            That's it i think.
Good Health and a bountiful New Year To You All.

I decided that I'm going to make a reall effort to swear less - it's become too commonplace for me.

              Also - make a baby.

Your second one should be fun Wayne!
I'm just going to try & finish everything I start, stop putting things off & be more assertive!

Remember, you want a good one Wayne, so practise first ... a lot

No new resolutions for me, except to speak my mind a bit less, perhaps. And I should spend less time on the pootah, and more time sewing (until the spring and the gardening comes back, anyway)

Speaking your mind is fine, TwoSheds, but maybe choose the words so that they are not hurtful. In some cases, eg, parking on cycle lanes, dangerous driving, pushing and shoving when boarding trains etc I think plain speaking (or shouting) is essential.

                      My resolutions are:

To make sure I write in my journal every day

To keep my gardening diary up to date

To eat better, healthier, get back to a proper veg and fish heavy diet

And having just finished ANOTHER seed order for herbs and chinese veggies, to get together with my chum so that we can amalgamate our hun dreds of packets of seeds and NOT to buy any more this whole year - but I may have got this one wrong!!!

Oh and to tidy my shed and keep it tidy but I know THAT's not going to happen too readily

My resolution is to learn to make curries and other Indian delicacies comparable to our local Takeaway.
That in turn should save in excess of £74,251 a week

My friends tell me I am too selfless.
How do I change that without becoming selfish????

Also- need to eat less, drink less, sleep more and still keep a big grin on my face??

Oh..and a Happy New Year to you all!!! ( you are all brill- keep up the good work!)
